Went to this quack awhile ago and wrote a review somewhere. She put on a crown without doing a root canal. About 3 months after she put the crown on, the crown fell off. She also put another crown on and that one has since fallen off. Of course my insurance won't pay for another crown and this quack won't make me another one.
Also, when she was shooting me up with numbing meds, she hit a nerve because she pushed too hard. I ended up dizzy, throwing up, severe headache. She had to stop what she was doing because my heart was beating so fast. I felt like I was having a heart attack.
People, find someone else to go to for your teeth. You will be better off.
The best part about this office is that its very convenient. They will fit you in last minute most times and you can tell that Dr. Pelak really knows her stuff. They even have a machine that can make your crowns while you wait so that you don't have to come in for multiple appointments. The only thing is that the parking lot was pretty full, but we did get a spot. I'm very happy here and will continue to return. Also, their hygienist is really gentle, which I always appreciate.
Dr. Pelak is ok as a general dentist. Do not use her for orthodontics. She is NOT an orthodontist. Daughter had braces with her. Expanders and braces were put on her to soon. Things were continuously popping off even on the way home. Wait times were long. Outcome was marginal at best. With my son, I knew better. Interviewed three orthodontist before picking one. Ended up at Kaplin orthodontic and experience was 1000 times better.
Excellent service friendly staff and very professional treatment. I had two different teeth pulled here and Dr Pelak is always courteous and informative. She always gives you your options and goes over your X-rays and overall issues. Her care and concern is what you hope every dentist does. She constantly checks to be sure you aren’t in pain and goes above and beyond to see to it that she doesn’t inflict unnecessary pain. I have been other places over the years but she is the best. My children all theee got their braces here and she has handled all of their dental needs. Her staff is excellent and treat my kids like family. If you don’t have the money she makes every effort to come up with a plan you can afford. Thanks Dr for being you
If I could give zero stars I would. I've never written a review before, but felt the need to warn people. Besides being misquoted on prices for a dental plan was hit with an additional $800 bill that was never discussed with me. It was close to $9000 dollars for two root canals and crowns. I was under the impression that price would cover all my dental work needed. Now it is an addition $4500 thrown at me unexpectedly. Besides being raped financially I was in pain for two weeks after procedure due to an infection where I had to call and visit the office twice before ever given an anti biotic. I wish I would have stopped work with this office sooner but I had pre paid with care credit. Although Dr. Pelak and her staff are pleasant enough, business wise and care wise are horrible.
